The Billings plan to use the newfound time to go on vacation, spend time with family and even play pickleball, she said. Matt Billings told Pleasanton Weekly that he and his wife were not retiring, but rather they were in "recovery time" and that a new venture could be on the horizon someday."
"Since the mid-1990s, the restaurant and bar has been known for an array of burger options, salads, chicken wings and other classic pub fare. Beer-wise, the Billings offered a small selection of house brews, such as a pale ale, a stout and an IPA, along with more well-known beers to round out the taps, like Henhouse, Deschutes and Trumer. The space was also a live music venue that hosted acts such as the Spencer James Band and the Stan Erhart Trio."
