"DANVILLE, Calif. (KGO) -- The Danville Costco was the place to be for hundreds of shoppers on Thursday. That's because of a special celebrity appearance by actor Simu Liu. He was at one of the store's signature sample stands, which featured the modern Chinese food brand MìLà. Liu is the company's chief content officer. MìLà served up pork, chicken, and shrimp soup dumplings, and Liu took photos with fans. He and the food brand's president even surprised a few shoppers."
""It's just an incredible opportunity to give back to the community. You know, Jen and I were able to find somebody who already had MìLà in their shopping carts so we kind of surprised them and were able to pay for their groceries, which was really amazing," Liu said. MìLà's soup dumplings are sold at Costco stores nationwide."
