Investigation into San Jose stabbing ends in two arrests

On Sept. 24, the suspects were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and booked into Santa Clara County jail. The suspects are being held without bail, according to jail records. As for the victims, the man has recovered but the woman is continuing to receive medical care."
Officers were called to an area hospital around 11:30 p.m. on March 7 after a report of a person stabbed. A man and a woman arrived at the facility with stab wounds; the man has recovered while the woman continues to receive medical care. An investigation found the assaults occurred that evening near 21st and East Santa Clara streets. One suspect stabbed the man with a box cutter and the other stabbed the woman with a broken bottle. Detectives identified two San Jose men, ages 26 and 24, and obtained arrest warrants. The suspects were arrested Sept. 24, booked into Santa Clara County jail and held without bail.
