One dead following motorcycle crash on Benicia Bridge
"BENICIA - A person died Tuesday morning after a motorcycle crashed on the Benicia Bridge, a wreck that may also have included a big rig, the California Highway Patrol said."

A motorcyclist was killed Tuesday morning following a crash on the Benicia Bridge that may have involved a big rig. The California Highway Patrol responded about 8 a.m. to the mid-span of the southbound bridge and found the motorcyclist down with the motorcycle blocking the far two left lanes. The Solano County Coroner responded and the rider’s identity was withheld pending family notification. The CHP said a big rig was affected but did not specify its role. The crash blocked the far three left lanes until the scene was cleared at 10:30 a.m.
