Christmas in the Park is a free annual holiday event in downtown San Jose at Plaza de Cesar Chavez, running November 28, 2025 through January 1, 2026, nightly from 6–11pm. The two-acre plaza is transformed into a walk-through holiday fantasy with an enchanted forest of decorated trees, over 40 musical and animated exhibits, glittering lights, a 60-foot Community Giving Tree, the Lima Train with classic displays, and a 50-foot Christmas tree. The event offers free photos with Santa in the Santa House, nightly entertainment, holiday refreshments, and an Opening Night tree lighting on November 29 sponsored by PG&E. The nonprofit event is community-supported and admission is free.
