Kate Hendren volunteered to repaint the gold on the welcome sign in Blaney Plaza, which was donated to the city a decade ago. Robert Woolsey washed the sign before repainting. Jill Hunter expressed gratitude to both volunteers for helping keep Saratoga beautiful. Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District has $300,000 available through its 2025 Grantmaking Program. Public agencies, nonprofits, and educational institutions may submit pre-proposals by Oct. 31 for projects that further scientific understanding, build conservation capacity, or support nature-focused access and education. Two award tiers fund projects up to $60,000. Reeva Sethi Home, a luxury furniture boutique inspired by New England and global artisan traditions, opened in Saratoga Village in July.
