Use of bots or other artificial voting methods is prohibited and can cause disqualification or permanent suspension of the poll. Votes by email and any votes after the 5 p.m. Wednesday deadline are not counted. Nominations are accepted at highschools@bayareanewsgroup.com until 11 a.m. each Monday, and stats submitted by coaches and team statisticians are reviewed. This week nominees include standout high school water polo and football performers.
