"For the entire academic year, we will provide a list of candidates who stood out over the previous week and allow you, the reader, to vote for the winner. This week, we consider performances from Nov. 10-15 . Polls close at 5 p.m. Wednesday. Vote as many times as you'd like until then without using bots or any other artificial methods of voting. "Josiah Delgado, Live Oak football: The junior, filling in for injured Gage Jones, rushed for 162 yards and four touchdowns in 26 carries as fourth-seeded Live Oak defeated King City 40-16 in the opening round of the CCS Division III playoffs. Aidan Dunosky, Willow Glen cross country: The senior won the Division III race at the CCS championships, covering the 2.95-mile Crystal Springs course in 15:28.6. His victory helped lift Willow Glen to the D-III team title. Dunosky won the prestigious Crystal Springs Invitational earlier this season, which also helped the Rams finish first as a team."

Readers may vote until 5 p.m. Wednesday, may vote multiple times, and must not use bots or other artificial voting methods; votes by email and after the deadline are not counted. Suspicious activity can lead to disqualification and poll suspension. Winners are announced each Friday online and in print. Nomination submissions are accepted at highschools@bayareanewsgroup.com until 11 a.m. each Monday, and submitted stats from coaches or team statisticians are reviewed.
