
Tim Hortons and 340 Canadian shop owners plan a combined CA$400 million investment in 2026 to build 80 new locations and renovate 400 others across Canada. The funding includes CA$270 million from Canadian restaurant owners and CA$130 million from Tim Hortons corporate. The upgrades target brighter interiors, improved layouts, stronger baked-goods displays, clearer digital-order pickup areas, and upgraded kitchen equipment. The plan also includes continued rollout of digital kiosks, with more installations planned beyond those already placed in more than 800 restaurants. The projects span every Canadian province plus the Northwest Territories and Nunavut, with Ontario leading by number of locations. Tim Hortons operates nearly 4,000 Canadian shops and runs a coffee roasting facility in Ancaster, Ontario.
