Eminent pathologist Richard Scolyer reveals heartbreaking cancer update months after experimental immunotherapy
Briefly

Professor Richard Scolyer, a leading melanoma expert, revealed that his glioblastoma has progressed again after initially responding to treatment. Diagnosed in 2023, he was expected to live just eight months but defied the odds, living for 18 months after experimental therapy. Recently, MRI results showed tumor advancement, yet he maintains a positive outlook, valuing support from family and friends. His candidness about his journey showcases hope amid adversity, as he prepares for further treatment options to address the remaining cancer cells post-surgery.
