Britney Spears Broke This Major FAA Rule and Was Met by Authorities Upon Landing

On May 22, Britney Spears lit a cigarette mid-flight on a JSX charter flight, alarming flight attendants who asked her to extinguish it. Authorities were contacted upon landing at Los Angeles as this wasn't her first smoking-related infraction. Spears shared the incident on Instagram, humorously recounting her experience with vodka and suggesting ignorance of the rules, partly due to a friend lighting her cigarette. She expressed regrets for offending others and felt the official response was excessive.
