The Flowery has inaugurated its eighth location in New York City, situated in the East Village. Sean McGuire, an East Village resident and established hospitality entrepreneur, manages the outlet. The dispensary offers a diverse selection of cannabis products, including flower, prerolls, gummies, concentrates, vaporizers, and tinctures. Staff members aim to provide personalized customer experiences by guiding them through product options and addressing individual needs. Enhanced features include visual aids, such as bud TVs and a microscope for close inspection of cannabis.
I aspired to own a bunch of bars and restaurants when I was younger, and I accomplished that and I was happy with how everything turned out, said McGuire. I just thought it was time to turn a new page and move into the cannabis industry.
We have a good mix of products, so everyone comes in for something different. We try and hear the customer out... and match them with the best possible product, said McGuire.
We have a lot of visuals. We have bud TVs that you could see the buds up close. We have a microscope where you could actually take the bud and put it under the microscope and you could see it.
I want the employees to walk [customers] around the store and show them all the options and then really talk to the customer and see what they're interested in achieving.
