Ford has announced further delays for its next-generation electric vehicles, with the full-size electric pickup, known as "Project T3," now expected to launch in 2028. Additionally, the new electric van set to replace the current E-Transit has also been delayed to 2028. In light of these setbacks, Ford is shifting its focus towards developing more affordable electric models, including a new midsize pickup named Ranchero planned for 2027.
