Ford Delays Next Electric Pickup And Van Again, But Not All Is Lost

Ford has announced further delays for its next-generation electric vehicles, with the full-size electric pickup, known as "Project T3," now expected to launch in 2028. This marks the second postponement, as it was initially scheduled for 2023 and then moved to 2027. Additionally, the new electric van set to replace the current E-Transit has also been delayed to 2028. In light of these setbacks, Ford is shifting its focus towards developing more affordable electric models, including a new midsize pickup named Ranchero planned for 2027.
