FusionFlight has introduced the Axion aircraft, an enhanced manned version of the AB5 JetQuad prototype. It features a compact design, comparable to a hatchback, with a weight of 330 lbs and a load capacity of 80 kg. The aircraft utilizes eight micro-turbine jet engines to achieve a top speed of 225 mph and can take off and land vertically. The Axion is equipped for manual maneuvering via joysticks and can also be operated autonomously through a touchscreen interface, making it suitable for various applications including search and rescue missions.
