A tester evaluated the feature across three congestion levels—low, medium, and high—limiting phone glances to five to seven seconds and shorter on local roads. On highways the tester ensured no vehicle was directly ahead. Testing stopped immediately when pedestrians or law enforcement were present and each attempt was capped at one minute.
