Tesla will unveil a lower-cost, light version of the Model Y that features a completely redesigned front, new bumpers, a redesigned rear, and different lights. The vehicle is expected to be roughly 10% cheaper than the current Model Y and will enter series production and delivery within a few weeks at the Grunheide factory. The new Model Y has already been seen without camouflage and has been teased on social media. The Grunheide plant head Andre Thierig described the Model Y Standard as looking like a different car.
