The 2026 Porsche Macan GTS Gets A Standard Limited-Slip Rear Diff
"It's the fifth version of the battery-powered crossover, slotting between the top-spec Turbo and the more toned-down 4S, both in terms of specs and price. The first-ever electric Macan GTS has two electric motors, one at the front and one at the rear, that have a maximum combined output of 563 horsepower (420 kilowatts) and 704 pound-feet of torque with the Overboost function enabled. In normal driving conditions, however, power is rated at 509 hp (320 kW)."
"By comparison, the Macan 4S has a maximum output of 509 hp, while the Turbo can deliver up to 630 hp, so the GTS slots precisely between the two. That theme continues when looking at the sprint time and maximum speed, with the GTS capable of accelerating from zero to 60 miles per hour in 3.6 seconds and on to a top speed of 155 miles per hour."
"The rear motor of the GTS is the same as on the top Turbo trim, as is the 900-amp pulse inverter with silicon carbide (SiC) transistors. The 100-kilowatt-hour (gross) battery pack is the same as on the rest of the lineup, with a maximum charging power of 270 kW and a 10-to-80% charge time of 21 minutes under ideal conditions."
The 2026 Porsche Macan GTS is the fifth electric Macan, positioned between the 4S and Turbo in performance and price. The GTS uses two electric motors for a combined 563 horsepower with Overboost and 509 hp in normal driving. The GTS accelerates 0–60 mph in 3.6 seconds and reaches a 155 mph top speed. The rear motor matches the Turbo’s unit and uses a 900-amp pulse inverter with silicon carbide transistors. The 100-kWh (gross) battery supports up to 270 kW charging and a 10–80% time of about 21 minutes. The GTS adds a limited-slip rear differential, sport-tuned lowered air suspension, and the Sport Chrono package as standard.
