Deliveries are planned for summer 2026, Solaris states. In 2021, the manufacturer delivered Urbino 12 hydrogen buses to Gelderland under the EU-funded JIVE2 programme. Transdev Nederland already operates 20 Urbino 12 hydrogen buses in South Holland and 10 Trollino 18 trolleybuses in Arnhem, while 96 Urbino electric buses are on order for Utrecht ( commissioned in October 2024)."
Transdev Nederland ordered 55 zero-emission buses from Solaris, comprising 42 Urbino 9 LE electric and 13 double-articulated Urbino 24 electric vehicles, with deliveries planned for summer 2026. The vehicles will enter operation in the Arnhem-Nijmegen-Foodvalley concession from the second half of 2026.
