Ball excited about 'great situation' with Cavaliers
Briefly

Lonzo Ball is no longer rehabbing a knee injury and is preparing for a new season with the Cleveland Cavaliers after being traded from the Chicago Bulls. He met with the team’s medical staff and coaches after the trade was finalized. Ball believes the Cavaliers' roster fits his play style and presents various offensive and defensive options. Last season, he averaged 7.6 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 3.3 assists, overcoming injuries that plagued him in previous years. He feels positive about his knee’s performance despite dealing with a wrist injury later in the season.
I think it's a great situation for my play style. Don [Donovan Mitchell] is one of the best players we have in the league. And they have two bigs that are mobile, can set pick-and-rolls and get to the rim like that.
After the games I didn't really know what to expect. But, you know, when I first got back versus Minnesota in that preseason game, I was kind of surprised that I was moving around.
