Counter Service, founded by Steve Ells, opened its first Brooklyn location in Williamsburg on April 15. The chain, which started in Manhattan in 2025, features a menu of house-roasted meats, homemade sauces, and artisanal bread without processed ingredients. Chef Andrew Black, a former sous chef at Eleven Madison Park, serves as Chief Culinary Officer. The menu includes a variety of hot sandwiches, sides, and sweets, with highlights like the Green Goddess Chicken Club and The Baron. The Williamsburg location operates daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
