
The Blackhawks have signed goalie prospect Adam Gajan to a two-year entry-level contract with a $1,050,000 salary cap hit, effective next season. Gajan, 21, was drafted in the second round of the 2023 NHL Draft. After a challenging first collegiate season at Minnesota-Duluth, he excelled in his sophomore year, achieving career highs in games played, wins, save percentage, goals-against average, and shutouts. He also represented Slovakia in the Winter Olympics and participated in the Spengler Cup.
