Right-handed pitcher Cade Horton was placed on the 15-day injured list due to a right forearm strain. Martin, 28, has a 3.76 ERA in 174 appearances and is making his major league debut. The Cubs also recalled right-handed pitcher Ethan Roberts for the doubleheader against the Cleveland Guardians. The doubleheader starts at 1:10 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on Marquee and 104.3 the Score.
