AJ Hinch warns MLB of 'dangerous' Tigers X-factor
Briefly

The Detroit Tigers achieved an impressive 13-1 victory over the Chicago White Sox, largely due to Kerry Carpenter's stellar performance. Carpenter, who returned to the third batting position after Parker Meadows' injury, broke out of a recent slump by hitting three home runs in the game. Manager AJ Hinch noted Carpenter's ability to excel when receiving favorable pitches. Despite narrowly missing a fourth home run, Carpenter felt rejuvenated by the performance, reflecting on the unpredictable nature of a sports season and the significance of successful outings in overcoming challenges.
Obviously, those are special nights, and Carp can do it. I don't know how often anybody ever sees [a three-homer game], but when he gets good pitches to hit, he's as dangerous as anybody.
I was confident, obviously, and I was trying to get a good pitch to hit. He ended up making a good pitch. I kind of wish I would've maybe swung and missed and gotten a better one.
It's just like the ups and downs of the season, where you go have a night like tonight. I haven't seen the ball particularly well the last week or so.
