The Tales of the Cocktail Foundation announced the Top 10 U.S. nominees for the 2026 Spirited Awards, with six New York City bars nominated for Best U.S. Cocktail Bar. The nominated bars include Bar Snack, Double Chicken Please, Martiny's, Overstory, Sip & Guzzle, and Superbueno, which together make up more than half of the category’s nominees. The list spans packed neighborhood energy, Japanese-inspired bartending in an intimate townhouse setting, and sky-high Financial District cocktails with panoramic views. It also includes a Greenwich Village favorite, an influential Mexican-American cocktail bar, and a buzzy newer arrival. Additional nominations went to bar teams, hotel bars, cocktail bars, restaurant bars, and individual bartenders from New York.
