"Nigel's unwavering support for British business and belief that bitcoin is set to rapidly expand its role in finance is perfectly aligned with the company's ethos and business plans."
Nigel Farage, leader of Reform UK, has invested £215,000 in Stack BTC, a cryptocurrency business chaired by former Conservative chancellor Kwasi Kwarteng. Farage has long advocated for bitcoin and digital currencies in UK politics, believing they will play a significant role in future finance and business. Reform UK has received £12 million in donations from crypto billionaire Christopher Harborne and became the first major UK party to accept cryptocurrency donations. Farage has proposed allowing tax payments in crypto and establishing a sovereign wealth fund of digital assets if elected. Stack BTC, listed on London's Aquis exchange, accumulates bitcoin while acquiring businesses whose profits are reinvested in cryptocurrency. The company currently owns 21 bitcoins valued at over £1 million and is valued at £6.45 million.
