Cowboys injuries: Lamb, Booker, Turpin limited at practice again Thursday
"A sight for sore eyes. The Dallas Cowboys' injury report this week has included the return of many key players to the practice field. It couldn't come at a better time. Their report is looking as good as it has been in a long time. Here's what Thursday's practice tells us about the health of the Cowboys and their opponent, the Washington Commanders."
"Inching closer to a return to the field, CeeDee Lamb (ankle) maintained his limited status at practice on Thursday. Guard Tyler Booker (ankle) was also a limited participant. As was the case yesterday, many players were still designated as limited. Among those still with a reduced practice workload were KaVontae Turpin (foot). Jack Sanborn, who missed last week's game versus the Carolina Panthers with a concussion, was upgraded to full participant."
"Others with a limited status were Donovan Wilson (elbow/knee), Tyler Smith (knee), and Jonathan Mingo (knee). Meanwhile, Trevon Diggs and James Houston were full participants again today with respective knee injuries. For the Commanders, many players were listed as DNP. Deebo Samuel (heel) sat out at practice after sitting out yesterday, and Terry McLaurin (quad) did not practice today after being limited yesterday. McLaurin was iffy to play versus the Cowboys, and his Thursday absence would suggest he's trending towards missing this week's game."
The Dallas Cowboys saw several key players return to the practice field, improving the team's injury outlook. CeeDee Lamb (ankle) and guard Tyler Booker (ankle) were limited participants, and KaVontae Turpin (foot) remained on a reduced practice workload. Jack Sanborn, who missed last week's game with a concussion, was upgraded to full participant. Donovan Wilson (elbow/knee), Tyler Smith (knee), and Jonathan Mingo (knee) continued with limited designations. Trevon Diggs and James Houston were full participants despite recent knee issues. The Washington Commanders listed many players as DNP, with Deebo Samuel (heel), Terry McLaurin (quad), and Dorance Armstrong (hamstring) not practicing.
