The Dallas Cowboys recently acquired wide receiver George Pickens from the Pittsburgh Steelers, aiming to bolster their offensive capabilities for QB Dak Prescott. While Pickens' athleticism and performance, including 59 catches for 900 yards last season, promise to enhance the team's receiver depth, there are concerns regarding his past behavior. Ryan Clark, a former Steelers player, highlighted the importance of Pickens' attitude, pointing out disciplinary issues that could signal red flags for Dallas. Overall, while Pickens is a promising addition, his conduct raises questions about the stability of the team's locker room.
The Pittsburgh Steelers, who under Mike Tomlin's tenure, has the greatest tolerance for mercurial personalities, Antonio Brown was there for a number of years where he was one of the best players in all of the NFL and the behavior was what we eventually saw. So if this has gotten to a point so early in George Picken's career where they can no longer tolerate him, where they can no longer make a relationship between this wide receiver and the organization work then that's a problem to me.
Yes, it seems like a home run from a physical standpoint, what he adds to this offense.
