Jason Ting, a New Haven-based new media artist, began a project called Daily Sketches in 2020 to explore algorithms and aesthetics through creative coding. The project expanded into over 2,000 abstract studies. Generative art is framed as a process of discovering unexpected and beautiful new worlds.
