Pokemon Scalpers Are Already Ruining The World Championships
Briefly

The Pokémon World Championships in Anaheim is currently showcasing exclusive merchandise that is quickly being flipped on eBay by scalpers. Although there is a one-per-person limit at the booth, some individuals are taking advantage of the situation to buy all available items for resale at significantly higher prices. This scalping practice has drawn criticism from attendees who believe such actions deprive true fans of their opportunity to purchase desired items. Reports suggest that demand will only increase as the event opens to the public, potentially worsening the situation.
If your main purpose of attending a Pokémon Worlds event is to rob Pokémon fans the chance to buy the things they saved up for just so you can scalp and resell them for 20x more than the original price, then you deserve to be banned from attending official events.
Probably the worst pokemon center ever. Mobs of people trying to stampede and grab the arcanine style merch, people next to me saying "let's buy the denim jackets because it has the highest resale value", are we serious 😑.
