Wood Middle School is seeing progress on its new campus after completing pile-driving and pouring foundations. The new stadium at Encinal will include an eight-lane, all-weather, 400-meter track, as well as various sports facilities and is under construction now.

The Alameda High School Swim Center, being entirely rebuilt, is set to open in summer 2026, boasting a 12-lane-by-30-meter competition pool.
