Vallejo Police Department Public Information Officer Rashad Hollis stated the bullet may have come from a targeted attack or two people shooting at each other.
The Vallejo Police Department is requesting the public's help in identifying activity on eastbound Interstate 80 between Tennessee Street and Redwood Parkway during the hours of 1:25 a.m. and 1:35 a.m.
Residents with surveillance cameras are encouraged to share footage that might provide insights about the incident, particularly if it faced east.
