Ayo Brame, a tenor, soprano, and EWI saxophonist from Oakland, California, began his jazz studies at the Oakland School for the Arts. Initially a clarinetist and drummer, he discovered his passion for the saxophone during the pandemic. Ayo has performed alongside his mentor and is currently a freshman at The New School of Music in Manhattan. He has headlined sold-out shows and toured internationally. Ayo will celebrate his 19th birthday with two shows in April and has contributed to Jill Scott's latest album.
