This week marks the 10th anniversary of Prince's passing, with events in Oakland honoring his legacy. The Afterglow Chorus will perform his classics, including 'When Doves Cry' and 'Purple Rain.' Two sold-out shows were held in Oakland shortly before his death. Community members are encouraged to submit events for inclusion in local calendars. Additionally, comedian Jo Koy will begin his world tour, stopping at the Oakland Arena in November.
