Cafe Bolita, from Bolita Masa creator Emmanuel Galvan, soft opened in Berkeley Kitchens with limited hours and menu, planning to serve coffee, champurrado, tamales, chilaquiles, and other Mexican breakfast items, with a grand opening scheduled for March 18 and future dinner service. FOB Kitchen's Chef Janice Dulce is expanding with a new West Oakland outpost. These openings reflect growing diversity in East Bay dining.
