Terra Nova HS students allege school district failed to protect them from teachers' sex abuse
Briefly

Allegations against Terra Nova High School in Pacifica involve serious sexual abuse claims. A lawsuit alleges a woodshop teacher groomed and assaulted a special education student, exhibiting predatory behaviors since 2016. The teacher reportedly engaged in inappropriate conduct, including following students, making sexual comments, and giving inappropriate gifts. Reports indicate a lack of response from school officials despite complaints from students and parents. Another lawsuit suggests a history of similar abuses involving a second teacher, highlighting systemic failures within the district to protect students.
The school alone was a breeding ground for predators, said Lauren Cerri of Cerri, Boskovich & Allard, who represents both plaintiffs in the suits.
Multiple students and parents tried to report him, but school leaders did not follow up and did not take any repudiatory action.
The complaint outlines how other students referred to this teacher as the creepy teacher because he was known for behaviors, including inappropriately touching minor female students.
Through the course of our investigation, it revealed that there was another teacher who was sexually abusing students years before.
