Eurostar planning direct London to Frankurt and Geneva train services

Eurostar aims to expand its European train services, introducing direct links from London to Frankfurt and Geneva, slated for the early 2030s. In the meantime, they will add a fourth daily service to Rotterdam and Amsterdam by September 2025, complemented by a fifth from mid-December. To support this, they are investing about €2 billion in up to 50 new trains, increasing their fleet size to 67 trains. Despite these advancements, there are currently no plans to restore services at Ashford or Ebbsfleet stations, while passenger numbers rose to 19.5 million in 2024.
