In the middle of the race, the weather turned cold and wet, which was unexpected, but I managed to adapt and keep my focus on the finish line.
Andreas was right there, pushing me until the last moments; I never felt safe until I crossed that finish line.
Looking ahead, my priority is preparing for my Western States 100 debut, which will be a different challenge altogether.
Winning the Transvulcania was thrilling, but the journey and the experience shared with other runners felt even more rewarding.
