
Twitter was used strategically during Greece’s 2023 parliamentary elections by the two main political contenders. Comparative frame analysis of 574 tweets from the pre-electoral period examined how political actors constructed and disseminated narratives to shape public opinion. Kyriakos Mitsotakis projected a stable technocratic leadership brand focused on performance. Alexis Tsipras adopted a movement-oriented approach using emotionally charged anti-establishment discourse. The analysis found divergent framing patterns, with technocratic communication showing greater strategic consistency and branding coherence. Fragmented oppositional strategies appeared less coherent in post-crisis electoral contexts. Communication patterns aligned with differential electoral outcomes, while the methodology focused on patterns rather than causal effectiveness.
