Lithuanian cyber-security experts ready to advise Ireland on looming Russia threats, says country's deputy foreign affairs minister
Briefly

Lithuania is firmly addressing Russian aggression by investing 5-6% of its GDP into defense and enhancing its military capabilities. The country has developed an efficient and globally recognized cyber security management system, as highlighted by Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs Sigitas Mitkus. Celebrating 21 years in the EU, Lithuania's GDP per capita has significantly grown since joining in 2004. Mitkus emphasizes the importance of unity within the EU, advocating for enlargement and solidarity among member states, while also noting the connection with the Lithuanian diaspora in Ireland.
We are a unique country in the EU in terms of cyber security. We have created a very well functioning cyber security management system in Lithuania.
We have been investing into our defence and security, we are doing our homework. We need to be serious but calm.
Our GDP per capita grew more than five times in comparison with what we had in 2004, so our membership is a success story.
We really believe in the European Union, in our unity, in solidarity and we have to stick together.
