HPE working on Plan B if DoJ nixes Juniper deal
Briefly

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) CEO Antonio Neri is optimistic about the acquisition of Juniper Networks despite a lawsuit from the US Department of Justice to block the $14 billion deal. With a trial expected in July, Neri believes the merger will ultimately close by the end of 2025, and views it as the quickest way to enhance shareholder value. However, he acknowledged that HPE is considering other options in case the deal doesn't proceed. Meanwhile, HPE reported a six percent revenue growth to $7.6 billion in its quarterly earnings, amidst a substantial loss that did not reflect weaknesses in its hybrid cloud segment.
Neri expressed optimism that the US Department of Justice will clear HPE's acquisition of Juniper Networks, while also preparing for alternative strategies if necessary.
Despite a $1.1 billion loss attributed to legacy business impairments, HPE experienced a revenue growth of six percent year-over-year, indicating strong business momentum.
