Kelluu raises 15M to build a persistent aerial intelligence layer for Europe
"Kelluu's airships are designed to operate in extreme conditions, including temperatures as low as -33°C, and can sustain operations during GNSS jamming, making them highly resilient."
"The fleet has logged over 50,000 kilometres of flight, including 12-hour Arctic missions, showcasing their capability for continuous presence and high-precision sensing."
"Unlike satellites and drones, Kelluu's airships provide a unique solution by offering continuous presence and high-resolution sensing in environments where conventional platforms fail."
Kelluu, a Finnish deep tech company, has raised €15 million in a Series A funding round led by the NATO Innovation Fund, marking its first investment in Finland. The company operates the world's largest fleet of autonomous hydrogen-powered airships designed for surveillance and intelligence gathering. These airships can cover 30,000 square kilometres from a single base and have been tested in NATO exercises. The funding will enhance technology optimization and expand the engineering team, enabling operations in extreme conditions and providing high-precision sensing capabilities.
