Peeling off price tags or stickers can be a frustrating task, often leaving behind a sticky residue. However, a simple hack using a hair dryer can make the process quick and easy. The heat from the dryer softens the adhesive, allowing the sticker to be removed effortlessly. This method can be applied not only to mugs but also on various surfaces like glassware and picture frames, ultimately saving time and frustration in cleaning kitchenware from sticky residue.
Hold the hair dryer about 6 inches away from the sticker. Let it heat up for 15 to 30 seconds. Once the sticker feels soft, peel it off.
The heat from the hair dryer softens the adhesive, making it super easy to peel the sticker off without wrecking your kitchenware.
I initially tried this with a ceramic mug. Afterward, I just wiped it down with a soft cloth to remove any leftover bits of sticker.
This trick works on more than just mugs. I tried it on glassware, picture frames, and even some old jars.
