Barcelona clinched the LaLiga title with a 2-0 win over Espanyol, largely thanks to the outstanding performance of teenager Lamine Yamal. Scoring a stunning goal and assisting another, Yamal's contributions were vital to the victory. He has an impressive record this season, with 17 goals and 21 assists, only surpassed by teammate Raphinha. Raphinha acknowledged Yamal's talent and also expressed gratitude for the trust shown by coach Hansi Flick, which has boosted his own performance this season.
In January, some people were saying we would fight to be third. We have confidence in ourselves. That's the key. We trust in the work and in what we know we can do.
We didn't have many clear chances, but we have a kid in there who, sometimes, pulls something out of the golden feet he has. He gave us peace of mind to stay in the game more calmly.
