Cheesy fashion show to take place in Charing Cross station's disused Jubilee line platforms
"Deep beneath Charing Cross, in the closed Jubilee line platforms, something strange is maturing: a cheese-themed fashion show, staged inside a disused Tube carriage - and yes, the public can actually go. In a collaboration with the University of the Arts London, young designers have re-imagined French cheeses as haute couture. Camembert as couture. Roquefort as runway. Brie... but make it fashion."
"Expect unapologetic fromage flamboyance, paired with accessories to complement the cheese crackers. And it all sounds a bit crackers. The whole spectacle unfolds inside a disused tube carriage, giving you the very opportunity to enjoy high fashion, subterranean tunnels, and dairy products all at once. And because it would be frankly rude not to, guests will also be rewarded with actual French cheese to nibble on. Fashion, tunnels, and fromage: mind the gap, and mind the Camembert."
