Goldwin Introduces Innovative Paper Fiber Styles for SS25 | stupidDOPE | Est. 2008
Briefly

Goldwin's Spring/Summer 2025 Paper Fiber Collection fuses traditional Filipino craftsmanship with innovative textiles to enhance comfort in hot climates. Featuring Manila hemp reimagined as ultra-fine paper yarn, the garments are designed for breathability and thermoregulation. This design aligns with Goldwin's Re-Optimum philosophy, focusing on recovery and balance. Notably, the integration of KODENSHI® technology enables the fabrics to maintain body temperature by distributing heat efficiently, resulting in a cooling effect for wearers. The collection exemplifies a harmonious blend of sustainability, comfort, and high-performance wear.
Historically used by Indigenous communities in the archipelago to make clothing suited for tropical heat, the fiber is now reengineered by Goldwin in the form of ultra-fine paper yarn.
Goldwin takes it a step further by pairing the paper fiber with KODENSHI®, embedding micro-ceramic particles into the fibers to absorb and reflect the body's far-infrared radiation.
