"Place the book at the end of the wrapping paper roll and measure out three book's worth. You also want enough paper to where if you bring it from the top of the book down, it covers three quarters of the book. From the bottom, you want enough paper to cover three quarters of the end of the book. Then using scissors, cut the wrapping paper off of the roll."
"Step 3: Create the pocket triangles Take the right side of paper from the top, and bring it down to the side of the book which will create two triangles. Take the first triangle and fold it down on top of the book. Press down and smooth out the crease. Now take the left side and bring the paper down to the side of the book, and take the first triangle and fold over top of the right fold you made. Press down and smooth out the crease."
Measure three book-lengths of wrapping paper and ensure coverage of about three quarters from both top and bottom, then cut. Place the book on the paper and bring the top edge down snugly without taping to the cover. Fold the right side down to form triangles, fold the first triangle onto the book and smooth the crease, then fold the left side over the right. Bring the triangles onto the top, smooth creases, and tape the left triangle taut. Insert a card, bookmark, or other accessories into the pockets. A furoshiki wrap can dress a wine bottle for an elevated presentation.
