I Had Been Here Before explores memory and time shaping and deconstructing spaces and moments. Dreamlike places appear through echoes and sensations. Family archives surface memories that materialize like a wedding cake or sea foam, emerging from softly gathered fabric or a dark mist on tailored garments. Childhood and adulthood converge in garments that invert scale and identity, suggesting children wearing adult clothes or adults inhabiting childlike pieces. The work creates a hazy, oneiric atmosphere where past and future weave together, blurring and beautifying perception. The project combines fashion design, creative and film direction, photography, sound design, and crafted elements like a cake.
