lucid murano blown-glass stools mimic sea waves at bottega veneta summer 2026 show
"A series of translucent Murano blown- glass stools color the runway set of the Bottega Veneta Summer 2026 show in Milan, with their surfaces and bodies resembling water and sea waves. Crafted by design brand 6:AM, the seats are made in a bespoke palette of ten colors, setting the scenography of the presentation and standing out against the white backdrop of the show."
"The functional objects by design brand 6:AM are blown-glass cubes, each one unique in tone and surface detail, and the studio's color palette of ten shades includes green, amber, clear, grey, and violet, to name a few. No shade stands out, but they gleam in harmony, even refracting the light and playing with shadows to mimic the surface of the sea and the waves of the ocean."
Translucent Murano blown-glass stools by design brand 6:AM colored the Bottega Veneta Summer 2026 runway in Milan, their forms resembling water and sea waves. The seats were made in a bespoke palette of ten shades — including green, amber, clear, grey and violet — that gleamed and refracted light to play with shadows. Each blown-glass cube is unique in tone and surface, hollow and nearly transparent inside, with smooth outer faces textured by glassblowing marks. The square cubes have slightly flat tops enabling use as stools, seats or plinths, and the Murano origin connects Venetian craft to the collection. Steve McQueen produced the show's soundtrack in Milan.
