Apple Martin to make feature film debut in Nancy Meyers's return to cinema
Apple Martin, daughter of Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin, has been cast in Nancy Meyers’s next untitled Warner Bros film, marking her feature acting debut. The cast includes Penélope Cruz, Kieran Culkin, Erin Doherty, Jude Law, Owen Wilson, Tony Hale, and Beverly D’Angelo. Character and plot details are not yet public, but the production is reportedly semi-autobiographical for Meyers. The project is described as being about a group of people making a film and the magic and mystery of filmmaking. Meyers is writing, directing, and producing with Ilona Herzberg, with Diana Pokorny and Paula Case as executive producers. This is Meyers’s first feature as director since 2015’s The Intern.
