Jessie Buckley wins Best Actress in a Drama for 'Hamnet' role at Golden Globes: 'This is not a normal feeling or situation to be in'
"This is not a normal feeling or situation to be in,"
"..... 400 extras I adore you, I would rave in that glow for the rest of my life with you. It was such an extraordinary set to be a part of - a film about the most famous Brit who ever lived, with a Chinese director, a lot of Irish, mostly Polish crew, alongside our British family."
"This soup started turning up on set and it was delicious... thank you for bringing your pot to set"
"To my husband, he's been really enjoying the free canapés and cocktails. This is a real honour. I love what I do and I love being a part of this industry."
Jessie Buckley won the Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Drama for her portrayal of Agnes Hathaway (Anne) in Hamnet. Hamnet, adapted from Maggie O'Farrell's novel about the death of Shakespeare's son that inspired Hamlet, was named Best Motion Picture Drama. Buckley thanked hundreds of extras and the international cast and crew, noting a Chinese director and a largely Polish crew, and praised a Polish crew member's soup. She paid tribute to fellow nominees, including Julia Roberts, and acknowledged her husband. One Battle After Another won Best Motion Picture Comedy/Musical. Stephen Graham, Owen Cooper and Erin Doherty secured Golden Globe awards for Adolescence.
